Interesting...why did they get you to do it like that? If you take port displacement out of that box you dont have much left. Only time you'd need that much port is if you had that thing in a large ported enclosure preferably in a wall, without walling it off I would have used some aero's. What did eD say the airspace and tuning was on that enclosure?

I questioned them several times with the size of the box compaired to the port area. They said that the sub only needs 2.5 cubes ported. I have the original specs that they gave me written somewhere. The OD are 19.5"x30"x19.5", the port is 6"x 18"-, to be honest I do not remember what the tuning is supposed to be. The box is supposed to be around 5 cubes +/-, they told me to burp it from 42hz up to the mid 50's. I will try to find the specs that I wrote down, to be really honest that one sub was very loud and sounded a lot better then my Planet Audio's.

I can totally agree with the 2.5 cubes for the 15. Thats normally around what we run SX's and even MT's in depending on the application. I still never received a PM from you but I need to ask you something so I'm going to send you one in a few mins.
