New And Lookin

Hello I'm Keith, I'm new to the site. I've got a 1993 nissan 240sx I've been competing For the last two years localy on Ms. gulfcoast, and I've seen S.P.E.A.D. members at alot of the shows I've been in. I'm currious what I would have to do or have in order to join your winning team? Any questions..I'd be more than happy to answer. Very Happy
Matt Sibley

Contact Kenny Bischoff.  He is currently in charge of the team although I don't believe we have any members competing at world finals this year.  I plan to stir things up and get us going again when I get back to Baton Rouge.  I'll be back in November until March then I am moving to San Francisco for 5 months before probably coming back permanently.  If you need help with anything email me.  matt.r.sibley@gmail.com  thanks.

I apprieciate that I'll try to talk with him in the next day or two. I have a good friend that is on your team Kevon, He knows me and has seen my work. Like I said I'm really looking to get on a great team, and your team seams real strong.
Matt Sibley

Cool, tell Kevon I said hi!  I just bought a bunch of Focal BE stuff off of ebay for my house.  I know he'd like to hear this stuff Smile

Those are Focals bass enhancement series right. They should sound awesome. Kevon loves that Focal stuff, I'm partial to CDT I think their X-overs are some of the best. Let alone their mids and highs sound really great also. Have you had a chance to hear their stuff?
Matt Sibley

No, BE is for Beryllium.  Its the material used on their tweeters.  Same tweeters as the Utopia BE.  I've heard some CDT stuff.  Always been a focal fan though.  Bower and Wilkins was at the top of my list too but I got a better deal on the Focal stuff.

I P.m.ed Kenny but haven't heard from him yet. So whats beryllium do for the highs? I've never heard of that. I also haven't heard of Bower and Wilkins, hows their stuff.
Matt Sibley

The beryllium material is lighter and more stiff than aluminum or other available metals used for tweeter fabrication.  It allows it to me more accurate.
